The Madison Dining Chair is a dining chair that captures the Jonathan Charles signature style: antique-inspired, handcrafted and made to be passed down through generations. It belongs to the Madison collection, firmly rooted in American East Coast elegance. Here polished woods and classic elegance meet in a design inspired by New York's Upper East Side, and the Madison Dining Chair carries that entire aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Every Jonathan Charles piece passes through the hands of specialist craftsmen — the joiner, the cabinetmaker, the marquetry artisan and the master finisher — before it is ready to leave the workshop. At home, the Madison Dining Chair serves as a characterful dining chair in the dining room. The proportions are balanced so that the piece holds its own without taking over — precisely the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Let a contrasting seat or upholstery break things up — it lifts the whole dining group. A choice that rewards careful looking — the longer you live with the piece, the more you discover.
