Behind Talia Large Linear Chandelier is Julie Neill, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the light level of a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
The finish is Gild with Clear Swirled Glass. The materials are brass and glass.
The height is 57,2 cm. It weighs 23,1 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Delivery time is 5-8 weeks.
Talia Large Linear Chandelier is shown at its best in dining rooms and living rooms. Its character leans towards classic modern. Choose a warm white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — lighting needs to shift between day and evening.
Visual Comfort & Co. works with invited designers rather than an in-house studio. That is why the collection ranges from restrained neoclassical to overtly decorative — each series carries the signature of its creator. Julie Neill is one of the designers the house works with.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
