The Rousseau wall light is designed by Kelly Wearstler for Visual Comfort & Co. A wall light lifts the light up from floor level, creating shadow and depth. Used in pairs — either side of a mirror, a painting or a bed — the effect is calmer than overhead lighting.
Choose between 3 finishes: Polished Nickel With Etched Crystal, Antique-Burnished Brass With Etched Crystal and Bronze With Etched Crystal. The tone of the metal affects how warm the light feels. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 25.4 cm in width and 51.4 cm in height. The weight is 4.1 kg — worth checking against the mounting before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. The slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in hallways and around mirrors.
We recommend the Rousseau wall light for hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. In style it sits close to Art Deco. We recommend a dimmable bulb with a warm colour temperature, around 2700 K. That is where brass and nickel show their tones at their best.
