Chinoiserie Style Bedside Table from Jonathan Charles is a bedside table that carries all the finest qualities of the British cabinetmaking tradition. It belongs to the Kensington collection, which is firmly rooted in British townhouse elegance. Here, polished mahogany and brass hardware come together in a design inspired by the elegant homes of Kensington, and Chinoiserie Style Bedside Table carries that whole aesthetic forward in its own characterful interpretation. Made by Jonathan Charles's craftspeople, with every layer of finish, every cut and every joint done by hand — a process that takes time but gives the furniture a depth that simply cannot be copied. At home, Chinoiserie Style Bedside Table works as a practical bedside companion in the bedroom. The proportions are judged so that the piece holds its own without taking over — exactly the balance Jonathan Charles is known for. Styling tip: Combine with matt textiles and an evening lamp for a tranquil bedroom feel. A piece that does more than serve a purpose — it also anchors the room in a long tradition of crafted quality.
