The Alderly Small flush mount is one of Visual Comfort & Co.'s own designs. The flush mount sits against the ceiling and spreads the light widely. It works where a hanging fitting would get in the way — hallways, walk-in wardrobes, lower rooms.
The fitting comes in 2 finishes — Polished Nickel With White Glass and Bronze With White Glass. Ideally, match it to the other metals in the room. The materials are nickel & chrome and glass.
It measures 33 cm in width and 10.8 cm in height. It weighs 2.7 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. The compact diameter suits hallways, cloakrooms and smaller spaces, ideally several in a row along a longer passage.
The Alderly Small flush mount is at its best in hallways, bedrooms and kitchens. Its character leans towards Art Deco. Choose a warm-white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.
