The Basil Small Flush Mount is part of Visual Comfort & Co.'s own design range. A flush mount sits against the ceiling and spreads the light widely. It works where a pendant would get in the way — hallways, walk-in wardrobes, rooms with lower ceilings.
The fitting comes in 2 finishes — Natural Brass / Without light source and Natural Brass / LED (1 pc). It is worth matching it to the other metals in the room. The materials are brass and glass.
The height is 14 cm. The lead time is up to 4 weeks.
Choose a warm white light source around 2700 K and ideally connect a dimmer — the lighting needs to be adjustable between day and evening.
Visual Comfort & Co. works with invited designers rather than an in-house studio. That is why the range spans everything from strict neoclassical to overtly decorative — each series carries the signature of its designer.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. Do come into the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting switched on.
