Pumpkins Velvet from G P & J Baker is built around nature motifs, drawn with the richness of detail that characterises the house's designs.

A straight pattern match keeps the making up straightforward. The colourway is Green/Terracotta.

Pumpkins Velvet comes from the Originals V collection.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in 100% cotton. At 50 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The look combines a classic poise, closeness to nature and timelessness, with a dark base tone. Mix with plain fabrics for balance, and let the pattern sit where it can be seen.

The colour scheme is dominated by green, dark and deep in tone with a warm undertone. That decides what it works with: a cool undertone wants cool neighbours, a warm one can take wood and brass.
