Toile Chinoise by Nina Campbell is a confident fabric from the Jardiniere collection. The classic toile pattern has been given a modern, artistic expression here, hand-painted in watercolour. The motif depicts harmonious chinoiserie scenes with elegant figures, strutting birds and sweeping palms. The watercolour technique gives the fabric a soft, lively depth, where the shifts in colour create a sophisticated focal point without overpowering the rest of the room's furnishings.

The fabric is printed in Austria on a high-quality linen blend of 60 per cent linen and 40 per cent cotton. The combination gives the textile a natural drape and a pleasant texture, with a weight of 210 grams per square metre. With a width of 150 centimetres and a vertical pattern repeat of 84 centimetres, Toile Chinoise is perfect for draped curtains and for cushions that bring subtle elegance to the sofa or bed.
