The Arlo fabric from Romo is built on a plain surface.

A straight pattern match makes hanging straightforward. Arlo comes in 5 colourways — Flamingo, Pomegranate, Danube and Olivine among others. The colourways differ more than you would expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The design belongs to the Oxley collection.

The fabric is 300 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. With 30 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The look carries a classic poise, closeness to nature and timelessness, with a mid-tone base. It works as well for curtains as for upholstery — keep the room's other textiles simple.

The palette is dominated by brown, mid-toned and soft, with a warm undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light makes colours look cooler than they do on the sample.

Consider the direction of the pattern when ordering. A large-scale motif requires more fabric when the pattern has to be matched between drops.
