The Oriental Bird Embroidery Silk fabric from G P & J Baker is built around floral motifs.

The colourway is Aqua/Multi.

The pattern belongs to the Holcott collection. The pattern is embroidered rather than printed, giving a tactile surface with relief.

The fabric is 133 cm wide and woven in a silk blend.

The look carries a classic poise, elegance and romantic softness, with a light base tone. It works just as well for curtains as for upholstery — keep the rest of the textiles in the room simple.

The palette is dominated by blue — light and soft in tone, with a cool undertone. Consider which way the room faces — north light pulls colours cooler than they appear on the sample.
