The Lymington Damask fabric from Sanderson is built on a damask weave. The house was founded in 1860 by Arthur Sanderson in Islington, London.

The pattern repeat is 42.0 cm, which makes it a medium repeat. The repeat is large enough to be noticed, yet small enough not to take over. The pattern is a straight match, which makes hanging easier. Lymington Damask comes in 20 colourways — Ecru, Cream, Buttermilk and Almond, among others. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Lymington Damasks and Stripes collection.

The fabric is 142 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. A Martindale rating of 20 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.
