With its floral motifs, Wandle sits firmly within the Morris & Co design language. The house was founded in 1861 as Morris, Marshall, Faulkner & Co.
The pattern repeat is 76.2 cm, which makes it a large repeat. A repeat of that size is visible from a distance and sets the tone for the whole room. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies hanging. Wandle is available in 5 colourways — Wine/Saffron, Blue/Stone, Forest/Mustard and Grey/Stone, among others. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can make a room either muted or light.
Wandle is part of Morris Wallpaper Compilation from Morris & Co.
Each roll is 68.6 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 153 g/m².
The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and hallways. The look carries a classic poise, a modern touch and elegance, on a dark ground. Let the wall do the talking and keep the soft furnishings calm.
You are welcome to order a sample before deciding — printed colours behave differently on a wall than on a screen.
