A straight pattern match keeps making up uncomplicated. Abacus Velvet is available in 3 colourways. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a light one.

Abacus Velvet is part of Abacus from Osborne & Little.

The fabric is 139 cm wide and woven in 100% polyester. With 90 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands upholstery use in the home.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look brings together a closeness to nature, sophisticated restraint and timelessness, with a dark overall tone. Large-scale motifs come into their own on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.

The palette is dominated by green, dark and deep in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the room's other textiles in the same temperature and the whole will hold together.
