With its textured surface, Branton sits firmly within Colefax & Fowler's design language.

The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The small scale keeps the pattern discreet enough to carry an entire room. The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies making up. Branton comes in 2 colourways — Red and Sand. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a light one.

Branton is part of Kruger P/BK from Colefax & Fowler.

The fabric is 140 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. A Martindale rating of 20 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, elegance and timelessness, with a dark overall tone. Large-scale motifs come into their own on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.
