The pattern is a straight match, which simplifies making up. Magnus comes in 6 colourways. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you a muted room or a light one.

The fabric is 139 cm wide and woven in a cotton blend. At 45 000 rubs on the Martindale scale, it comfortably withstands domestic upholstery use.

The pattern works particularly well in living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, closeness to nature and timelessness, with a very light overall tone. Large-scale motifs show to best advantage on curtains and larger surfaces, less so on cushions and details.

The palette is dominated by beige — very light and soft in tone, with a warm undertone. Keep the other textiles in the room at the same temperature and the whole scheme will hang together.
