The Avant Large wall light comes from Kelly Wearstler's collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co. Wall lights work with the depth of a room rather than its general light. Two flanking a mirror or a bed give a softer light than a single point in the ceiling.
The Avant Large wall light comes in 2 finishes — Antique-Burnished Brass with Frosted Glass or Bronze With Frosted Glass. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are brass and glass.
It measures 15.9 cm wide and 62.2 cm high. It weighs 3.2 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mount before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. Its slim width means it takes up little space, which is an advantage in corridors and around mirrors.
The fitting works particularly well in hallways, bedrooms and living rooms. Its design language draws on Art Deco. The bulb is not included. We recommend dimmable, warm white light, around 2700 K, to bring out the metal of the fitting.
We are happy to help with lighting plans — how many light points a room needs and where they should go. Get in touch or visit us in Östermalm.
