With a subtle yet characterful presence, the Bayton fabric from Colefax & Fowler combines timeless elegance with a genuinely crafted feel. The design is part of the Ellerdine collection and draws its inspiration from antique Kilim textiles. Here a softly woven herringbone ground meets bold, full embroidery that creates a raised, tactile texture. The geometric stripe gives the room a pleasing rhythm without taking over.

The fabric has a beautiful drape and a quality that makes it work just as well for generous curtain drops as for upholstery on armchairs or as characterful scatter cushions. The natural texture of linen and cotton, together with the muted lustre of the embroidery, adds a sophisticated depth to classic and more modern settings alike.
