Behind the Halo Medium Ceiling Light is Barbara Barry, a designer for Visual Comfort & Co. The ceiling light carries the ambient light of the room and doubles as a focal point. Over a dining table, allow 60–70 cm between the tabletop and the lower edge of the fixture.
The fixture comes in 2 finishes — Matte White and Matte Black. It is worth matching it to the other metals in the room. The material is nickel & chrome.
It measures 69.8 cm in width and 63.5 cm in height. It weighs 10.9 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mounting before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a fixture on the larger scale. Over a dining table, you ideally want the width to be roughly half that of the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.
The Halo Medium Ceiling Light is at its best in living rooms and dining rooms. Its expression leans towards art deco. Choose a warm white light source of around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adapt between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a photograph. You are welcome to visit our showroom on Sturegatan 20 and see the fixture switched on.
