With a plain surface, Kauri sits firmly within Zoffany's design language.
The pattern repeat is 1.0 cm, which makes it a small repeat. The small scale makes the pattern discreet enough to carry an entire room. A straight match keeps installation straightforward. Kauri comes in 5 colourways — Quarter Quartz Grey, Mushroom, Fossil and Bone Black/Gold, among others. The difference between them is greater than you might think — the same pattern can give you either a muted or a light room.
Kauri is part of Folio from Zoffany.
Each roll is 68.6 cm wide and 10.05 metres long, printed on paper. The weight is 166 g/m².
The pattern works particularly well in living rooms. The look has a classic poise, a modern touch and timelessness, with a very light overall tone. Let the wall do the talking and keep the upholstery fabrics calm.
The palette is dominated by white, very light and clear in tone with a cool undertone. Keep the room's other textiles at the same temperature, and the whole scheme will hold together.
Feel free to order a sample before you decide — printed colours behave differently on a wall than on a screen.
