The Arden fabric from Zoffany is built on animal and nature motifs.

The pattern repeat is 98.0 cm, which makes it a large repeat. That makes the pattern a distinct feature that carries a room on its own — allow for extra material when matching the pattern. A straight match makes hanging straightforward. Arden comes in 4 colourways — Pewter, Tapestry, Blue and Venetian Red. The colourways differ more than you might expect; choose according to the light in the room.

The pattern belongs to the Cotswolds Manor collection.

The fabric is 137 cm wide and woven in 100% linen. A Martindale rating of 20 000 rubs makes it suitable for upholstery.

We recommend Arden for living rooms and bedrooms. The look has a classic poise, closeness to nature and elegance, with a medium overall tone. It works as well for curtains as for upholstery — keep the other textiles in the room simple.

The palette is dominated by brown, medium and muted in tone with a warm undertone. Take the room’s orientation into account — north light pulls colours cooler than they look on the sample.
