The Franca Large Ceiling Light is the result of a collaboration between AERIN and Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
The Franca Large Ceiling Light is available in 2 finishes — Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With White Shades and Hand-Rubbed Antique Brass With Black Shades. The finish matters more than you might think: polished nickel gives a cooler light than brushed brass. The materials are brass and ceramic.
The width is 172.7 cm. It weighs 16.8 kg — worth checking against the ceiling mounting before installation. Delivery time is 2-8 weeks. This is a fixture on the larger scale. Over a dining table, you ideally want the width to be roughly half that of the tabletop, so this one suits tables from around 140 cm upwards.
The fixture works particularly well in dining rooms and living rooms. Its design language draws on a modern idiom. The light source is not included. We recommend a dimmable, warm white bulb of around 2700 K to bring out the best in the metal of the fixture.
