Behind the Agnes Large pendant is AERIN, designer for Visual Comfort & Co. A ceiling light sets the level of light in a room and is also the first thing you notice. Hung over a table, its lower edge should sit 60–70 cm above the top.
The fitting comes in 2 finishes — Plaster White With Gild Interior and Matte Black With Gild Interior. Ideally, match it to the other metals in the room. The materials are brass.
The width is 53.4 cm. It weighs 2.3 kg — worth checking against the ceiling fixing before installation. Lead time is 2-8 weeks. The size is balanced for normal ceiling heights and works over most dining tables without dominating.
The Agnes Large pendant is at its best in dining rooms, kitchens and living rooms. Its character leans towards Art Deco and classic design. Choose a warm-white bulb around 2700 K and ideally add a dimmer — the lighting needs to adjust between day and evening.
Lighting is hard to judge from a picture. You are welcome to visit the showroom at Sturegatan 20 and see the fitting lit.
