Det finns mycket att tänka på när man ska beställa gardiner, och det kan vara svårt att veta vad man ska tänka på och vart man ska börja! Därför har vi samlat allt du behöver veta om gardiner och vad du ska tänka på innan du beställer här!
Gardinlängder finns i en rad olika stilar och du kan välja mellan mängder av olika tyger för att skapa den önskade atmosfären i ditt hem. Du kan med fördel ha både en tunnare gardin, även kallad voile för att minska insynen och ett tjockare tyg så som sammet eller linne för att skapa en lyxig och mer exklusiv känsla i hemmet.
Heltäckande gardiner är bra om du vill ha möjligheten att kunna dra för dina gardiner helt, för att skärma av mot insyn eller ljus. Det ger även att fylligt och lyxigt intryck när gardinerna inte är fördragna. Gardiner som både går att dra för och ifrån blir således mer användbara, kom även ihåg att fördragna gardiner är ett bra sätt att skydda mattor och möbler från att blekas av solen Gardiner med sydda veck är mest lämpliga att ha som endast dekorativa gardiner, det vill säga gardiner som du inte planerar att dra för.
För att ge en illusion av att fönstret är större än vad det är rekommenderar vi att gardinstången eller skenan är bredare än vad fönstret är. När du väljer gardinens bredd tänk då på vad du vill att gardinerna ska täcka när dem är fördragna, ska de täcka endast fönstret eller hela väggen?
Om du har en skena som fästs i taket så mäter du helt enkelt från golv till tak. Om du har en skena som är fäst på väggen eller en gardinstång så mäter du från stången ner till golvet. Vi rekommenderar att gardinerna slutar ca 2 cm ovanför golvet men om du istället föredrar att gardinerna ska ha ett släp längst golvet så är det bara att lägga till lägga till några centimeter på gardinens fallhöjd.
Det finns ingen exakt svar på hur lång gardinstången “ska” vara, men för att ge ett lyxigt och fylligt intryck rekommenderar vi att stången ska sticka ut minst 15 cm på vardera sida om fönstret. Det vill säga om fönstret är 100 cm brett så ska gardinstången vara minst 130 cm.
