Designers Guild was founded in London in 1970 by Tricia Guild, whose vision was to create textiles and wallpapers with colour, pattern and quality at their heart. At a time when interiors were dominated by severe forms and strong primary colours, she chose a different path – softer shades, generous florals and a modern, relaxed elegance that made the home both personal and inviting. That design philosophy still shapes every Designers Guild collection.
