Vilette Alabaster är uppbyggd av stora, eleganta paneler i vitt och naturfärgat — ull mot jute — som möts i räta vinklar över mattans yta. Skillnaden mellan fälten ligger inte främst i färg utan i material: den mjuka, matta ullen mot jutens grövre, ljusreflekterande struktur.
Mattan är handvävd och flat, vilket gör den tunn, stadig och möjlig att vända. Juten behåller sin naturliga karaktär med små variationer i ton, precis som fibern ser ut innan den bearbetas.
En matta i den här skalan och färgen fungerar som arkitektur snarare än dekoration — den delar upp golvet och ger rummet ordning. Lägg den under en soffgrupp eller i en hall. Finns i tre format, inklusive löpare på 75 × 250 cm.
